Interesting! Are you part of this German Club? Never found one around here, but I try to keep my German alive by reading novels and watching movies and news.
In this City most languages have their own club. The German club is a bit more on the Bavarian side of things and its charm is a bit dusty… Reading and tv are great ways to keep your language alive. There are expats everywhere. There’s a German group here that just go out for dinner here and there and speak German. Maybe you could even form your own group!
Maybe. My husband speaks German as well, so we probably should just speak it more at home! But I’ll definitely will think about it.
My better half does, too, and we speak a lot of germlish and denglish…
