Kiki – Switzerland – Swiss woman - living here, there, elsewhere - And after 12+yrs in France, I’ve now moved back permanently to my home country. I’m very much into reading, singing, playing music, I enjoy gardening (but even more so sitting in a garden with a drink in one hand, a charming person opposite me, or a book in the other hand!!!), I'm a DIY person with varying degrees in doing everything from badly to superbly, I love company, cooking, dining with Hero Husband (HH), family, friends and anybody I meet, I love candles, sunshine, hot tea and red wine, value friendships highly, I’m an avid writer & reader, I have no TV, bad eyesight by now and do my photo work now with my phone camera. You can speak to me in English, Deutsch, Schwyzertütsch, Français, Italiano, and if you talk food, I’m quite sure that I also understand what you’re saying in Portuguese and Spanish.... I speak beautifully with my hands waving and feet dancing - and I'm a good listener, that works in any language :) My prof. background covers anything from humble secretary to personal assistant, right (and left) hand to important people, I adored working in international environments (hence my living in many countries too), but just as much I loved and still love intimate 'constellations', I do a lot of thinking and writing for myself and I love REAL honest people, simple pleasures, as well as believing in thankfulness, honesty and friendliness. I have early on decided not to join Facebook and I'm glad about this decision. Today more so than ever. Also, due to my bad (and worsening) eye-sight, I do have an Instagram account but no photos, I just indulge in my friends work and it allows me to comment. Same thing on Twitter. I'm on Pinterest, but not obsessive so... I however hope to go back to my Flickr photosite sometime.

That’s a super-oldie which is still of a certain actuality, or now, in these times, even a ‘necessity’. We no longer can ask Karl (and I wouldn’t) but we try to get clothed decently because it just feels ‘right’ to do so. Hero Husband has now started to wear his polo shirts but that is because he’s running out of shirts which I can’t iron because our ‘Hausmeister’ used my iron to do some glue-work on the shelves and because he clumsily used my iron on an already glue-soiled rag, my iron is now covered in glue. I ordered a new iron anyway but the delivery is delayed by already 2 weeks so I have all the excuses on the ready! 😉

  Hi Kiki, sorry, you were hiding in my spam. I think this is the right attitude. You see those photos of bloggers hanging on the couch. I could do that for an hour but in the long run you need a desk, sit up straight and probably wear decent clothes. Now ironing is for pros! Kudos. Sorry about your iron! Shopping is hard these days. I bought all presents for the kids birthday at Kaufland …

I’ve been wondering why pants similar to sweatpants are in Germany called ‘wellness’ pants. What’s supposed to be so ‘well’ about them? Are they the ‘cure’ for that sweatpants defeated feeling? Minus elastic around the ankle, the ‘wellness’ pant maybe lets at least your foot circulation increase, in case, in that defeated mood, you just shoved the sweatpants in the wash maschine and ‘cook washed’ at around 90 Grad? That can cause a bad case of Shrinkeroo.

  You’re hilarious! At least in this part of Berlin they also seem rather popular as an outside garment… I wonder when the gym chick will hit these streets?!?
