  1. There is nothing like trying to learn a new language as an immigrant at middle age to teach you that perfectionism isn’t as important as making an effort and accepting your limits with grace. If some stranger acts like they think less of you for your speaking their language imperfectly, consider them a victim of perfectionism, and quietly hope they will one day stand in your shoes. -Kaffee Tante
