Oh Lordi, what can you say? Hard Rock Hallelujah was the Finnish entry for the ESC in 2006. Not only did Lordi win, but they also broke the record for most points, which they held for 3 years until the huge victory of Alexander Rybak. What a Fairytale.
Let’s get ready to clap on one. Beware though, the lyrics may have hidden messages.
The walls come down like thunder, the rock’s about to roll.
It’s the arockalypse, now bare your soul
Save the Date
Not long until the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The semi-finals will be held on May 18th and 20th with the grand finale on Saturday 22nd. Motto this year is Open Up and I can’t make up my mind if in life AC this is pure genius or utterly stupid. Then again, we’ve had amazing slogans like Come together or Light your Fire and, of course, All aboard. (They clearly never had to watch Dinosaur Train.)
Anything is possible at Eurovision.

Now choose to join us or go straight to hell
Enjoy your Sunday and have a lovely start to your week!

Back to the 80s! Excellent costumes! Love it!
They were pretty special …
I did actually watch that one all the way through! Bearable as long as you keep your eyes shut so you don’t have to look at those absurd costumes. Were these people extra’s in the first series of Star Trek? They look familiar. Are aliens allowed to enter the ESC?
Oh thank you so much for your great spirit! They are a Christian Metal Band and they mean it. The US is still not allowed … Mmh?
There’s only 2 weeks to go and I’m afraid, you’re not convinced to watch?!
(No hard feelings here. Most of my friends never ever show up for ESC. At least these days they don’t have to come up with odd excuses.)
I remember seeing this as a kid.
Just brilliant 🤘😜🖤
🙂 Nothing close will be on the agenda this year … but you cannot beat Lordi anyway
#facts! 😁👍🖤
