It got pretty Christmassy around here, so for today, let’s stick to some streetart; postcards from Berlin #15.
das frohlein.moodmacherrr, Alexanderplatz
Womanizer Crew – probably the best sticker all year If you don’t live in Germany, this is Modern Talking, strangely they didn’t get featured on Schlager Sunday yet, note to self … Wedding
so.schön.wie.immer, Prenzlauer Berg
Stolpersteine are the biggest decentralized monument world-wide. The artist Gunter Demnig does not only make the victims of fascism visible, he actually makes us silently bow in front of them as we read the inscriptions. Watching people clean Stolpersteine on November 9th has me in tears every single time.
El Bocho – We are mutants, Alexanderplatz
Two ideas who the artist might be … I’ll update this when I figure it out, pinky swear
Public Transport Magazine, us Germans love our Hoff
Summer is coming, screw the sweaters by Ja!Da!, Alexanderplatz
Berlin is always a good idea – unless you are that shop in the mall that just went bankrupt
Hard Rock Kitty, Prenzlauer Berg
eme freethinker, Mauerpark
unknown artist
eme freethinker at work, Mauerpark
Make Love Great Again, dressed up construction site at Mauerpark
For some reason, postcards from Berlin #15 turned out as phone photo edition. Next time, we get out the big art!
Thank you for spotlighting the Stolpersteine, which I was unfamiliar with. What an amazing and moving project!

Thank you! He actually started putting in the first stones without permission (that’s pretty wild for Germany)!

Sooo toll. Vor allem die Mainzelmännchen, David Hasselhoff und THE WOMANIZER CREW – Modern Talking! Alle wecken so einige Erinnerungen. Memories from back then. Thanks for this revival! Cheers aus Dänemark.

Germany is pretty varied for the size of it! Definitely don’t skip Berlin and Dresden and all the little swimming lakes in between.
