Waiting

Berlin is shutting down and from all we know, it is a good 2 weeks too late as it is.

It feels as if the attitude of people is already changing completely for the better; you should see our neighbours… Fingers crossed, the rest of the world is taking it seriously, too.

We are a bit ahead of many countries nevertheless, I am very grateful for living in Europe right now. This is not about you, this is about all of us and the ethical responsibility we hold for our community. Do not take this so lightly; stay at home. You’ll be fine, what about Granny?

Oh, all the things I would like to say but this is not a political blog afterall … Take care, stay safe and be nice and freaking considerate!

  1. I typically CHOOSE to stay home. Funny how that choice wants to change when you are told you MUST stay home. But I will. I’ve hugged my kids and grandkids the last or a while. I pray that they will learn the joy of a little down time as well. Hope my husband can stand it – he is my opposite – the social butterfly.
    Be well my friend.

  2. Well said. The safest place to be right now is at home. Wash hands frequently when you do have to go out. We’ve been in full lockdown in France since yesterday and have to produce government issued papers if we go out. It’s eerily silent and calm here.
Stay well and healthy, dear Be Kitschig, and all your readers X

    1. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I do it too, seems the inernet is also much slower. Please stay safe; anglo saxon countries don’t seem to be in a hurry …

    1. Thank you Ellen, at the moment there is really no place to go anyways … I really just wish people would stop thinking, it doesn’t affect them. While most of Berlin is completely shut, some people are still sipping their lattes. (It’s probably the same people that bought all the flour & toilet paper…) Please take care, too!
