Sir Terence David John Pratchett (1948 – 2015) was a writer, probably best known for his Discworld novels. He was one of the best selling authors in the UK and has been appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire, OBE, and been knighted. There is even an asteroid named after him.
Pratchett had a ginormous fan base that combined young and old, people from all walks of live as well as readers who would usually not pick up a science fiction novel. His legacy won’t be forgotten any time soon …
