Schlager Sunday – Wonderful Life

Rumors go Colin Vearncombe, alias Black, wrote this sarcastic little tune due to his marriage failing, a few car crashes and no breakthrough as a musician.

Vearncombe was a gifted songwriter and died only 53 years old of injuries inflicted by a car accident.

While there are many cover versions of Wonderful Life the German interpretations are rather … erm … interesting … Do you dare?

Black – Wonderful Life

Colin Vearncombe – Wonderful Life

Peaky Blinders – Wonderful Life

Katie Melua – Wonderful Life

These are the German bands that needed to cover this song in absolutely particular order.

Seed – Wonderful Life

Blutengel – Wonderful Life

Scooter – The Sound Above My Hair

Have a wonderful Sunday.
