Tierpark Friedrichsfelde, the zoo in the former East of Berlin With a space of 160 hectares (400 acres) it is said to be the largest zoo in Europe, featuring beautiful landscaping and a great selection of animals, including muskoxen or takin, that you hardly see in a zoo. They also run a successful breeding program for elephants and are just recently remodeling the cat house to accommodate less big cats with more space.
