Today, I am taking you on a little tour to get to know the art work of eme freethinker. I have to admit, I am a bit of a fan. Painting portraits is really hard and eme uses graffiti techniques to make it all happen … Kudos. He insists though, that he would just draw what was on some picture but adds more meaning with his speech bubbles.

Eme is from the Dominican Republic and what would’ve brought him here? Yes, love. So for a lady he left the beach and when he first came to Berlin he only owned 1 pair of long pants.

As a kid he spent a lot of time on trees and M is the first letter of Monkey. Just in case you were wondering how he chose the name eme. He still likes doing monkeys.

Now, I know these things because I only kindly asked him, if I was allowed to take a photo of him. Pretty backside as is polite, of course, but he just posed for a photo and we ended up having a little chat. He is incredibly nice and modest (but again, you may have a bit of a fan here). Maybe he could turn gnome Paul into some nice street art?

Unfortunately, street art is a quick business and sometimes you are just too late to take a good picture. (With your cell phone in crap weather … and this is why this is not a photography blog …)

If you like the art work of eme freethinker, luckily, I’ve come across an indoor project which should still be in splendit condition. So, stay tuned for more graffiti art!
Happy Hump Day; enjoy the rest of your week!

Very nice survey and feature 👍 Cheers 🙂
Thank you but where have you been? Are you coming back?
My blog just on a virtual hibernation and rest 🙂
Ahh, that sounds like fun. Lately I wonder if my blog should go there, too. Enjoy!
I like his work! I am always amazed by street art.
He has some skills! There will always be a bit of street art around here for you 🙂
😃❤️
Very good. Thank you.
Thank you, Sir 😉
Ladies first? What about Romeo and Juliet? Sad about the ignorant tagging on such beautiful street art. Actually, that isn’t really tagging, is it? It’s just vandal graffiti. Shame.
It is a shame. The wall does change really quickly but usually you see new graffiti. I like to beleive it’s puberty ignorance and Lea wasn’t impressed 😉
