Surely, the most kitsch painting in the world is the Mona Lisa – it even has its own Tin Pan Alley song – and yet it is also a supreme masterpiece.

I’m happy to see Mona is keeping safe! 😀
Come to think of it, visiting her was not with a great distance (to other people) maybe this lady is happy to get a bit of a break?
Yes, when I visited her many years ago, I was lucky enough to be one of the first in the Louvre that day. A few minutes later and there were dozens of people trying to get a look. 😀
Never seen the original in Paris but I have a nice copy at home, I’m kitschigy!
YES! Deep down I believe we all are here & there… These quirks can make your life better 😉
Mona is always refreshing. If only we knew her secret.💕☕️☕️
Totally agree. Kitscher than that? Nothing.
I always avoid it whenever I visit the Louvre (about every 5 years or so…) Now would be a good time, but I’m afraid we’ll have to cancel our July trip to Paris…
Oh no, but you always go! While I’m pretty sure, travel restrictions will allow you to visit, the 2 weeks of quarantine might nit be worth it …
Yeah. This will be a case of not going right now. Current status is that if you’re a French national and don’t live in the EU, there is quarantine. So 2 weeks out of 3 or 4? Pointless.
