Welcome to Postcards from Berlin #26 – the unexpected edition. After my recent Spring cleaning efforts I may have opened Pandora’s Box, or someone else did that recently. (Out of my ongoing research, we’re is my time?)
Either way, there were a lot of interesting murals and graffiti to show solidarity with Ukraine. It didn’t seem like a week to post fluffy kitschy stuff, so enjoy the street art from Mauerpark. I updated one photo this morning and most of the other art work from Sunday has been completely tagged. Street art is a fast business.

As per usual, it doesn’t look like I took enough photos. Here is a Monday morning sunrise walk for you from Sunday’s art work. Enjoy!
Have a happy hump day!

Thank you!

These are great. Thanks!
Hi David, thank you! Sorry for the late reply; I fished you out of my spam. Have a nice weekend
Excellent
Lots of art here, all created in such a short time – my favorites are your close-up of the dove mural and the dove mural in its entirety. Solidarity around the world in this time of heartbreak is wonderful to see.
It is wonderful that so many people speak up and show support. How that all helps is on another page
Yes, it is – I see people pulled apart with the vaccines and mask issues, but now come together … it is wonderful to see. Universally it is even better. We had a local guy leave for Ukraine yesterday. He was carrying lots of pediatric medical supplies (12 suitcases full, but 2 which were lost and went to Rome). I’ll look forward to seeing that post.
So many great works! (except for the trashcan and half-eaten cake :D)
When I spotted it, there was still an empty beer bottle. Thanks to the return systems, they are gone quicker than you can say bottle. It was a perfect Berlin still life …
